Surviving and Thriving – 125 years of the Camanachd Association

Annual seminar at Highland Folk Museum. 10 October 2018 marks the 125th anniversary of the establishment of the Camanachd Association. On this date in 1893, in the Victoria Hall in Kingussie, representatives of various shinty clubs throughout the country met “for the purpose of forming a Camanachd Association”.

To help celebrate our anniversary this seminar will examine and celebrate the past, the present and the future of shinty.  We hope that you will join us and continue to help our nation’s most iconic team sport not just to survive but thrive over the next 125 years.

Adults: £30.00 Students: £25.50

Full details and how to book available from the Highland Folk Museum website.
